Serbia - Bulgaria - Romania
In October 2017 I went on a trip to Serbia with a friend. We wanted to travel to a country in Europe where we had not been yet.
We chose this one as, unlike most of the other European countries, its tourism is not really developed and the country itself is pretty unknown to Italians, aside from its role in World War 1.
Getting to know Serbia, its traditions, its people and its food was really interesting, especially the last one. We discovered that the Serbian cuisine excels at meat and we loved every single lunch or dinner we had there.
We travelled all across the country by train and car: from Nis to Belgrade, then Negotin. We also visited Bulgaria and Romania, but we spent just a little time there.
